PepsiCo
Need we say more?
The Client
Lisa T. Milovanovic is director of global mobility for PepsiCo, the largest food and beverage business in North America and the second largest business in the world.
PepsiCo employs approximately 285,000 people worldwide and relocates 1000+ employees annually. With more than 200 great brands, including household names like Pepsi-Cola, Lay's, Walkers, Quaker, Sabritas, Tropicana and Gatorade, PepsiCo is a food and beverage powerhouse.
The Situation
Nearly 10 years ago, PepsiCo set out to find an international households goods mover who could ease the burden of relocating for their employees by eliminating countless points of contacts. "Transferees had to deal with 25+ people throughout the move process and it became very cumbersome in an already stressful situation," said Milovanovic.
From a client perspective Milovanovic was also searching for a 'partner' and not just a vendor. "We wanted a company who understood our goals and brought value to the relationship," she said.
The Result
Milovanovic credits Suddath with winning PepsiCo's business because of their committing to a single-point-of-contact for the PepsiCo account. "It made all the difference," she said. While Suddath has continued that commitment through its last 10 years as a service provider, it has also taken steps to further the business relationship with other partnership initiatives.
"After nearly 10 years as our international household goods provider and over the last couple of years also as a domestic household goods mover, Suddath has proven to be a true partner," Milovanovic said. "I feel like they understand us, our culture and our goals. The Suddath management team has taken the customer/supplier relationship to another level by creating a transparency among service partners, allowing PepsiCo to not just be a transaction but a partner in the process."
