THOMAS TO PRESIDENT

the promotion of Bob
Thomas to President.
Thomas began his career
at Suddath over 31 years
ago and worked his way
through the ranks into
local dispatch,
operations management,
long distance
operations, and
ultimately to STS. Bob
was named General
Manager of STS in 1990
and has successfully
managed and grown the
organization from a
group of four to more
than 30 employees in
five markets throughout
the U.S. Bob has lead
his staff to become one
of Suddath’s most
tenured and experienced
teams within The Suddath
Companies.
Bob’s contributions have
not just been limited to
STS. He has been an
active leader in the
Jacksonville community,
most notably for his
involvement in HabiJax.
In addition, over the
past 12 years, he has
played a very
significant role in
Suddath’s Hurricane
Recovery Program.
