Chamber Announces
Sixth Annual Corporate Art Tour
JACKSONVILLE, FL – October 7, 2003 – Calling it a cultural
evening to remember, The Downtown Council of the Jacksonville
Regional Chamber of Commerce today announced that the 6th Annual
Corporate Art Tour and silent auction will be held at The Suddath
Companies on Thursday evening, November 13, 2003.
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Suddath
building on 815 S. Main St. Advance tickets are $15 or, if space is
available, may be purchased for $20 at the door. Heavy hors
d’oeuvres and beer and wine are included.
This year’s exciting event will include the exhibition of
approximately 50 works from some of Northeast Florida’s finest
artists. Over the course of the evening, some of the artists will be
working on pieces to give guests a rare glimpse of the creative
process. Also, a silent auction and live jazz courtesy of the St.
John’s River City Band will add fun and ambience to what promises to
be a grand evening.
The silent auction includes scores of items including weekend
getaways, gift baskets and, of course, art. Proceeds will benefit
the Downtown Council’s Leadership Learning Fund, which helps small
business and community members to become involved in leading the
future of our city.

are especially pleased with Suddath’s generosity in allowing the
public to view the fascinating art collection the family has
accumulated over the years.”
