Suddath Announces Scholarship Award Winner

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, June 26, 2003 -- In keeping with their commitment to education, The Suddath Companies today announced that Ryan Elliff has been selected as the recipient of The Richard H. Suddath Scholarship award for 2003.

The Richard H. Suddath Scholarship is presented annually to a graduating high school senior who is the dependent of an active, full time employee or independent contractor of The Suddath Companies. This scholarship provides full tuition, fees, and the cost of books for four years of academic study at a state college or university.

Ryan is the son of Terri Larson, Director of Agency Services for Suddath’s Houston, Texas office. Ryan graduated from Magnolia High School in June with a 4.36 grade point average. He was active in many organizations in the Magnolia, Texas area, including AWANAS, the Vicky Rudy State Representative Campaign and Leo Club. Ryan will attend Texas A&M University where he plans to major in Mechanical Engineering.

Ryan is the thirteenth recipient of the Richard H. Suddath Scholarship, which was established upon Richard Suddath’s retirement as Chairman of the Board in 1989, to honor his many years of leadership, training and dedication to the employees of The Suddath Companies.
