Suddath Awarded Prestigious
United Honors for 2003
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, October 17, 2003 – In keeping with
the goal of “Wowing” its customers, Suddath Relocation Systems, a
leading provider of global household goods
transportation, facility
moving,
warehousing and logistics services, and a leading agent with
United Van Lines, today announced that it received several
prestigious awards from United Van Lines, including the President’s
Club and Customer Choice awards, at its convention in
Boca Raton,
Florida this month.
United Van Lines, the nation's number one household goods mover,
is made up of more than 500 agents across the U.S. Suddath is one of
its top three agents. Each year, United tracks agent performance in
several areas including household goods, customer satisfaction,
safety and hauling. At its annual convention, United recognizes the
top performing agents in these and other categories for their
outstanding achievements.
“One of our stated goals is to be number one in all categories we
qualify for regarding United’s annual awards,” commented Michael E.

dedication in winning these important accolades.”
In receiving United’s President’s Club Award, Suddath is being
recognized for generating booking revenues of $43 million this past
year. Suddath has received the President’s Club honor every year
since becoming a
United agent in 1981. It also marks the eleventh
straight year that Suddath has been ranked as one of the top three
agents in the United system.
The Customer Choice award is another of United’s top
achievements. The end customer essentially determines this award, as
they rate their satisfaction with the services rendered by the
United agent that handled their move. Three of Suddath’s branch
subsidiaries received this coveted award. They include:
- Suddath Dallas, Texas – First Place Customer Choice Award
(600-999 Shipments)
- Suddath Melbourne, Florida – First Place Customer Choice Award
(400-599 Shipments)
- Suddath Orlando, Florida – Honorable Mention Customer Choice
Award (1,500 + Shipments)
Suddath also captured two of the four Van Operator of the Year
awards. Donald Rushan of Suddath Dallas, who won in the Special
Services Master Lease Fleet category, and Bill Rindle of Suddath
Jacksonville, who won in the Household Goods Master Lease Fleet
category, were recognized out of 6,000 candidates. To win this
award, candidates must achieve superior scores on their total
performance, including quality service delivery, claims statistics,
safety performance, customer relations’ excellence and operational
commitment and cooperation.
