Suddath’s Poole Appointed
Regional Sales Exec
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, October 1, 2003 -- Suddath
Relocation Systems, a leading provider of global household goods
transportation, facility moving and warehousing and logistics
services, today announced the appointment of Joe Poole to Regional
Vice President, National Account Sales-Eastern Region.
"Joe has had a tenured and successful history with our company
for more than 30 years, both in the area of sales and management,"
said Brad Estrin, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing,
Suddath Relocation Systems. "We’re pleased that he has accepted the
challenge of growing our national account base in the Eastern U.S."
Over the past year, Joe has been assuming more sales related
duties in addition to his General Manager responsibilities in
Suddath’s Miami branch. In this new critical role, he will be
charged with developing new business in Suddath’s existing markets
as well expanding its presence in new markets along the eastern
seaboard. In addition to direct business development, Joe will
assist in the management and expansion of Suddath’s existing sales
teams throughout its east coast branch system.
Joe began his career with Suddath in 1971 as a dispatcher in its
Orlando branch and subsequently worked in sales positions in a
number of other Suddath locations. These included the start-up of
Suddath Los Angeles in 1991 and the re-organization of sales and
operations in Dallas in 1994 where he received Suddath’s Excellence
in Sales, National Account Sales and International Sales awards.
In 1996, Joe was appointed General Manager of Suddath’s Miami
facility and during his time in this role he accomplished the
following:
- Received the Suddath Relocation Systems First Runner-up Award
for Branch of the Year in 1999.
- Won the Suddath International Branch of the Year Award in
2001.
- Received the Humanitarian Service Award from the Pan American
Development Foundation Disaster Relief Program in 2000.
