Suddath Appoints Trevathan to GM
Post in Miami
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, September 26, 2003 – Suddath
Relocation Systems, a leading provider of global household goods
transportation, facility moving and warehousing and logistics
services, today announced the appointment of John Trevathan as
President and General Manager of its Miami, Florida branch.
In this position, Mr. Trevathan will be responsible for all
operational, sales, marketing, and financial aspects of its 100-plus
employee global moving and storage operation serving the Miami-Dade
county area.

facility, with an emphasis on expanding the facility’s business

Mr. Trevathan has more than 10 years of experience in the moving
industry. He has held roles as General Manager with two relocation
companies and gained valuable experience in the Chicago and South
Florida markets as a result. Mr. Trevathan has a proven track record
in handling the responsibilities of sales, operations, multiple
product line development, process improvement and enhancement of
profitability. His accomplishments include:
- Over the past three years, secured more than $20 million in
contract volume in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, hospitality and
government sectors.
- Increased revenue by 26 percent and operating margins by 54
percent in 2001.
- Achieved Top 25 nationwide quality designation by Parsifal
Corporation for his branch in 1999.
Mr. Trevathan majored in Economics and Business Administration at
the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Certified
Moving Consultant. He is a member of the Beacon Council, the Ft.
Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and the IFMA.
