Suddath Promotes Gleason to Head
Washington, DC Branch
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, September 24, 2003 – Suddath
Relocation Systems, a leading provider of global household goods
transportation, facility moving and warehousing and logistics
services, today announced the promotion of Paul Gleason to President
and General Manager of its Washington, DC branch.
Mr. Gleason will be responsible for all operational, sales,
marketing, and financial aspects of its global moving and storage
operation serving the DC/Baltimore market.

fit for our needs in the DC/Baltimore market,” said Michael E.

perspective to an already well-established and well-run Suddath
facility, with an emphasis on expanding this branch’s business mix.”
Paul has 26 years of experience in the moving industry, having
worked for a South Florida agent of a
major moving company prior to
joining Suddath. Initially, he served as a Terminal Manager in
Suddath’s Ft. Lauderdale office in 1997. A year later, he was
promoted to Operations Manager for this same office and then
promoted to Vice President in the year 2000. In 2001, Paul was
promoted to President and General Manager of Suddath New York, where
he turned the company around in under three years. During his time
in New York, Mr. Gleason also achieved the following:
- Rose from 252nd place to 50th place in United Van Lines Sales
- Won Suddath’s Most Improved Branch of the Year award in 2002
- Revenue increased by 19 percent in 2002
Mr. Gleason is active in several industry associations, including
the AMSA’s Mentor Program, Young Executive Development Program and
the Young Relocation Professionals Network of New York.
