Suddath Announces Van Operators of the Year for 2002
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, May 22, 2003 – Recognizing the key individuals that
are helping take the company “from good to great,” Suddath Relocation Systems, a
leader in worldwide relocations and household goods transportation and a top
agent for United Van Lines, announced its 2002 Van Operator of the Year award
recipients.
- In the Continental Fleet division, the winner is Anatol
Zawadzki of its Melbourne, Florida branch and the runner-up is
Mike Kelly, of its Dallas location.
- In the Master Lease Fleet division, the winner is Bill Rindle,
of Suddath’s Jacksonville branch and the runner-up is Chris Foti,
of its Melbourne branch.
The Van Operator of the Year award is the highest honor that a Suddath van
operator can achieve. To qualify for this award, van operators must score
exceptionally well in the areas of claims, safety, quality and operations
efficiency.
Achieving Suddath’s Van Operator of the Year or Runner-Up awards is very
prestigious,” commented Jim Myers, Senior Vice President of Operations for
Suddath Relocation Systems. “The high caliber and overall professionalism of our
Van Operators creates fierce competition for these awards and makes the process
of choosing a winner extremely difficult. The honorees are to be commended for
the superior service they provide to our customers and their commitment to
safety.”
Based on 77 shipments in 2002, Anatol Zawadzki scored a perfect 10 on his
United quality scores and scored 99.4 out of 100 for all key performance
measurement areas. He has been recognized by United in the Honorable Mention
category for the Van Operator of the Month award 12 times and for the annual
Safe Driving Award four times. His Suddath Awards include winning the Safe
Driving award four times, the Continental Fleet Van Operator of the Month three
times and runner-up numerous times. He has won Suddath Melbourne’s Van Operator
of the Year award in 1999 and 2000.
After being with the company for just one year, Bill Rindle has quickly
earned recognition from United and Suddath for his work performance. In winning
the Van Operator of the Year award, Bill was graded on the 63 shipments he
handled in 2002. He scored a perfect 10 on his United quality scores and scored
99.4 out of 100 for all key performance measurement areas. Suddath has honored
Bill with the annual Safe Driving award in 2002, Master Lease Fleet Van Operator
of the Month award twice, and Jacksonville branch’s Van Operator of the Year
award in 2002.
For their achievement, each winner receives an engraved award, a gift and a
cash bonus.
