Wins 2002 Branch of the Year Honors
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, March 27, 2003 -- Accomplishing a feat for only the
second time in company history, Suddath Relocation Systems, a leader in
worldwide relocations and household goods transportation and a top agent for
United Van Lines, today announced that Suddath Dallas has won the "Branch of the
Year" award for the second year in a row.
The Suddath Branch of the Year award is given to one of its nationwide branch
locations that demonstrate exceptional performance in the areas of customer
quality scores, sales productivity, revenue, safety, operations and van operator
performance. Suddath Dallas shined in all of these areas in turning in another
superior performance in what was a very "economy-challenged" 2002.
Coming off a year of record-setting revenue and profits in 2001, Suddath
Dallas experienced similar revenue levels for the year 2002. However, through a
focused effort on managing its operations under the guidance of Richard
Eschbacher, General Manager, Suddath Dallas proves that quality performance pays
dividends as it increased its profitability by over 20 percent -- breaking the
record it established last year.

An improvement from 11th place last year.

amount in hauling revenue in the Suddath branch system.
- Three of its van operators received perfect 10’s on all their
Customer Service Surveys and Dallas' overall score was 9.6 for all
van operators.
- It fielded one of the most successful and productive sales
teams in their branch system.
