Outsourcing Services Provider, Centra Worldwide,
Signs Contract with
Electrograph Systems Inc.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 20, 2000--Centra Worldwide(TM) has been awarded a comprehensive third-party
outsourcing contract by Electrograph Systems, a national value-added
wholesale distributor of display technology solutions and the
largest distributor of plasma display monitors in the United States.
One of the oldest distributors of high performance display
monitors, Electrograph has continually evolved its business model to
provide the highest levels of service possible for its reseller
customers. In keeping with this philosophy, Electrograph sought a
relationship with
Centra Worldwide to enhance the company's
regionalized customer service and logistics capabilities.
Due to the changing nature of today's rapid growth markets,
Electrograph chose to utilize the most state-of-the-art business
model of the 21st century -- a close, synergistic relationship with
a trustworthy
outsource provider capable of rapidly implementing
customized, scalable, corporate infrastructure, information systems,
and logistics management solutions and services.
Sam Taylor, Electrograph president stated: ``We sought to create
a relationship that allowed us tremendous growth flexibility in a
short timeframe and utilization of the most sophisticated,
Web-based, enterprise-integrated data systems, affording us total
control and visibility into all aspects of our business. Centra
Worldwide offered us all of this and more.
``With Centra Worldwide as a strategic partner, we can
selectively augment our regional presence in key geographic areas,
providing rapid delivery from a set of local fulfillment centers,
real-time order tracking and personalized customer service.''
Centra Worldwide's
High Technology Logistics Division, was
developed around a very powerful, Web-interfaced, Enterprise
Resource Planning software platform (the Centra Control Systems(TM)),
which fully automates all aspects of online: order placement,
inventory management, fulfillment services, transaction processing,
accounting, call center operations, management reporting and
order/shipment tracking.
``All businesses are in dire need of a third-party provider of
turnkey ERP systems and Infrastructure Replication(TM) services that
can be implemented quickly, efficiently, and at minimal cost,''
stated Craig H. Sloss, director of sales and marketing for Centra
Worldwide and 20-year display industry veteran.
Centra encapsulates every conceivable service that a business
needs to successfully enter or grow a market domestically or
globally.
Sloss continued: ``We can transport the product to our
facilities, test it, manage the inventory and all aspects of order
placement, fulfillment, billings, cash management, credit -- all
paperless -- all viewable in real-time, online, via a secure data
portal. Centra Worldwide provides all of the bricks and mortar that
you'll ever need.''
``We do everything in-house to retain full control of the
processes, insuring a high degree of accuracy in
order fulfillment.
The Centra Control Systems(TM) virtually eliminate the potential for

increasing our clients' profitability levels,'' remarked Brett
Macker, Centra Worldwide executive vice president.
