Suddath Relocation Systems Launches New Business
Support Service
Jacksonville, Florida, August 1, 2000 -- Barry S. Vaughn, President of
Suddath Relocation Systems, announced today the development of a new business
support service within Suddath Relocation Systems designed to provide value
added services to the company's commercial storage customers.
Suddath Logistics Services will serve as a new business unit and support
service charged with coordinating Suddath's current commercial logistics and
fulfillment activity at the branch level. The business unit will be headed up by
Jim Spinney and Patty Huber, formerly of Data Storage Centers -- a records
management and storage company recently sold by The Suddath Companies.
"As a system, Suddath is currently generating $3.5 - $4 million annually
in commercial warehousing activity. With the development of this new division,
we feel the opportunities are limitless," stated Vaughn. Service/product
lines to be under Suddath Logistics Services' direction include asset
management, commercial warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and
inventory/forms management.
