Stephen M. Suddath serves as Chairman of The Suddath Companies and provides leadership to the company’s officers and executives. As chairman he oversees and provides strategic direction of the organization as a whole. Mr. Suddath has been with the company for more than 30 years in both domestic and international moving operations.  Mr. Suddath literally "grew-up" in the moving and storage business and worked to develop a hands-on understanding of the industry.

For the last 20 years, Mr. Suddath has been involved in developing the strategic direction of the entire Suddath^® operation while working alongside executives of each of the company’s subsidiaries and nationwide branch offices to enhance quality, growth and improve profitability.

In addition to his responsibilities at Suddath, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Boy Scouts of America and the American Diabetes Association. Mr. Suddath has also served on the Mayors Growth Management Task Force and provides support to over 30 charities in northeast Florida, serving on many of their boards in the past.  He is a native of Jacksonville and enjoys coaching basketball at the YMCA, sailing and free diving. Mr. Suddath graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance.
