Suddath Cares. As an organization that has been in business since 1919, The Suddath Companies are committed to the communities where we work and live. One of the key elements of our core values is service to the community and helping others. We accomplish this by donating funds, equipment and the efforts of our people to many worthy causes each year. Through this support, our goal is to enrich the lives of our neighbors as well as ourselves.

Richard H. Suddath Scholarship Award
The support of education is an important endeavor for The Suddath Companies. In 1990, Suddath established the Richard H. Suddath Scholarship Award. It is presented annually to a graduating high school senior who is the dependent of an active, full time employee or independent contractor of The Suddath Companies. This scholarship provides full tuition, fees, and the cost of books for four years of academic study at a state college or university. Some of the organizations we support include the Jacksonville chapter of the First Tee youth golf program, the United Way, the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association and Habitat for Humanity (HabiJax).
